STATUS: A common species, widely distributed in New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Arfak Mts., Borme, Depapre, Fakfak, Fyria River (Buruway), Getentiri, Hollandia (Jayapura), Kouh, Mapia (Asmat), Maripi, Prafi, Sabron Camp (Cyclops Mts.), Sinimburu, Snow Mts., Tuan Wowi, Warmare Dua, Werba. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
