Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. A common species. The form fasciata Warren, 1903 was for a long time considered to be a species but this can no longer hold.

Bembab, Bog Camp (Foja Mts.), Depapre, Fyria River (Buruway), Getentiri, Hollandia (Jayapura), Huri-Mber, Kouh, Mt. Kunupi, Kwerba, Lelambo, Mabilabol, Meja Reserve, Ninay Valley, Pim, Prafi, Rasiei, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senggo, Senopi, Setekwa River, Sibil, Sinimburu, Utakwa River, Tanahmerah, Utakwa River, Vriendschaprivier, Waena (Camp Walker), Wembi, Werba, Yongsu, Yuruf.
