Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species, in New Guinea represented by ssp. semifulva. Found in the northern part of Papua. The ground colour of the forewing varies from pale brown to chocolate brown.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Misool Island; Batanta Island; Sekar Island: Sekar; Numfor Island; Roon Island; Japen Island: Ansus; New Guinea: Cyclops Camp, Dorey (Manokwari), Fakfak, Foja Mts, Humboldt Bay, Ifar, Jembatan Dua (Cyclops), Kapaur (Fakfak), Pim (Jutefa Bay), Rhijnauwen (Hollandia), Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senopi, Sentani, Sorong.
