STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea. The dominant colours are black and white. See Cleora hospita for diagnostic characters.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Anggi Lakes, Baser Camp (Utakwa River), Etna Bay, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Hollandia (Jayapura), Mt. Kunupi, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Ok Sibil, Upper Setekwa River, Sibil, Syoubri (Arfak), Utakwa River, Walmak, Wandammen Peninsula, Wembi. Details in gazetteer.
