STATUS: Occurring in New Guinea and at the eastcoast of Australia. In New Guinea represented by the nomotypical ssp. sabulata.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Ampas, Benyas, Eilanden River, Mt Goliath, Mt. Kunupi, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Omban, Pukusam, Rasiei, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sawia, Senopi, Sinimburu, Upper Setekwa River, Tandia, Tekai (Keerom), Uskwar, Utakwa River. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, eastcoast Australia.
