Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed and common species. In New Guinea it is represented by subspecies schistacina.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Roon Island; New Guinea: Andai, Base Camp (Utakwa River), Borme, Humboldt Bay, Kapaur (Fakfak), Kloofbivak, Gn. Meja Reserve, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Upper Setekwa River, Triton Bay, Wai Sai River (Weyland Mts), Wangaar River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Philippines, Moluccas, Papua New Guinea.
