STATUS: A widely distributed species in the Indo-Australian region. In New Guinea represented by the nomotypical subspecies and rare.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mt. Kunupi, Ninay Valley, Sabron Camp (Cyclops). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: From North India to Papua New Guinea.
