Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A rather rare and dark coloured species with a strong falcate forewing apex. Distinguishing is the dark ground colour with the rufous or black rectangular bar in the forewing cell.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island: Samber; New Guinea: Anggi Lakes (Arfak), Araboebivak, Keerom River, Mt. Kunupi, Mokwam, Oksibil, Pass Valley, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
