Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed, but rare. Males have the forewing apex only slightly falcate, while in the similar patterned apicifulva it is strongly falcate, and the zigzag transverse line is diagnostic. Very dark specimens occur, still recognizable by the zigzag line and dentated termen of the hindwing.
