STATUS: A common species. It prefers mountain areas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Araboebivak, Bivak 39a (Star Mts. Exp.), Mt. Goliath, Keerom, Mt. Kunupi, Lelambo, Mabilabol, Mokwam, Pass Valley, Sinimburu, Timeepa, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.
