Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed. There is quite some variation in suffusion of the wing margins which led to description of different subspecies. However, these forms occur sympatrically and should be considered to be variations only.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Roon Island; New Guinea: Fakfak, Fyria River (Buruway District), Humboldt Bay, Upper Setekwa River, Tuan Wowi, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Queensland (Australia).
