STATUS: Widely distributed. A small and common species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Araboebivak, Base G (Jayapura), Depapre, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Huri-Mber, Ifar, Jembatan Dua (Waena), Kouh, Manokwari, Rasiei, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sorong, Wamena, Warkapi. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian region, from India to Australia, Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago.
