STATUS: Widely distributed. In Papua a rare species and represented by ssp. anicana.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mt. Kunupi, Omban (Star Mts), Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Peninsular Malaysia; Sumatra, Borneo.
