Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed, a common species. The species is strongly sexual dimorph, male and female are very different.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Misool Island; Mioswaar Island; Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Ampas, Dotir, Fakfak, Hollandia (Jayapura), Ifar, Keerom, Kouh, Landikma, Lelambo, Meni (Arfak), Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Prafi, Rasiei, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sawia, Senggo (Asmat), Senopi, Upper Setekwa River, Timeepa, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Wambes, Wandammen Peninsula, Warkapi, Wembi.
