Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Not a common species in Papua. Its distribution is very wide, from India to New Guinea. The species cannot be confused with another Pingasa species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Dotir, Mt. Kunupi, Lelambo, Ninay Valley, Upper Setekwa River, Utakwa River, Wandammen Mts, Werba, Yuruf. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Himalaya region to Sundaland, Sulawesi, Moluccas, Papua New Guinea.
