STATUS: A rare species. The species is in western Papua represented by subspecies superba.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mt. Goliath, Mokwam, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
