STATUS: A widely distributed species in New Guinea, in the western part represented by ssp. dissimilis Warren, 1912, which is richer patterned than the nominate form in PNG.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Arfak Mts, Upper Setekwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
