Oxycanus meeki (Viette, 1950)

Note

The colour and pattern is very similar to that of other Oxycanus species. A certain identification is only possible with examination of the male genitalia.


 

Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea. The genitalia are easily distinguished from other species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Bijenkorfbivak (Beehive Camp), Demaisi, Syoubri (Arfak Mts.). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
