Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Endemic in New Guinea. Widely distributed but not common. It is similar to Carea simplicilinea but the white transverse line is in simplicilinea ending in the costa, while in flava it runs with a sharp angle partly along the costa.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Biak Island: Japanese cave (Biak City), Marauw; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Affi, Ampas, Borme, Mt. Kunupi, Manokwari, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
