Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed species, rather common in New Guinea. The status of tarika and triguttata is still uncertain, by some regarded as distinct species, here regarded to be conspecific until confirmation.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Ampas, Boma, Borme, Demaisi, Depapre, Ifar, Katan (Mappi), Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Parfi (Jayapura District), Uskwar, Utakwa River, Vriendschap River, Wembi, Yuruf. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Oriental region, Buru, Seram, Halmahera, Papua New Guinea.
