Distribution

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in Indo-Australia, from Northern India to Northeast Australia. In Papua a common species in both, lowland and mountainous areas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak: Base Biak, Korem; Supiori: Korido; Roon: Yende; New Guinea: Ampas, Depapre, Fakfak, Furu Camp (Foja Mts.), Jayapura, Kota Nica (Jayapura), Kouh, Landikma, Mabilabol, Marina Valen, Merauke, Pass Valley, Rasiei, Sentani, Sinimburu (Upper Digul), Ubrub, Uskwar, Wambes, Warkapi, Yuruf. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Throughout Southeast Asia: North India, South China, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, East Queensland.
