The occurance of Angonyx boisduvali Rothschild, 1894 in Indonesian New Guinea is not confirmed yet according to Ian Kitching and Willem Hogenes. Its status should be checked. It is to be expected that it concerns Angonyx papuana Rothschild & Jordan, 1903. For the time being it is accepted in this list.

STATUS: Just recently known from Papua, revealed by genitalia research (see literature).

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Duebei (Arfak Mts.), Southwest Cyclop Mts. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Bismarck Archipelago, Solomon Islands.
