STATUS: Rather rare in Papua.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Arfak Mts, Genyem, Jayapura, Landikma, Langda, Mabilabol, Sentani, Ubrub (Keerom River). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: ssp. protrudens: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Northeast Australia.
