STATUS: Widely distributed, a common species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island: Marauw; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Depapre, Jayapura, Langda, Mabilabol, Nabire, Ninay Valley (Arfak Mts), Pass Valley, Sentani, Taja Rifi, Timika, Ubrub, Wamena. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: South China, Indo-Australia, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia), Solomon Islands, Fiji Islands, New Caledonia.
