Distribution

 

 

 

STATUS: A rare species in Papua. Very similar to aruus but the blue pattern with iridiscent green and sometimes even pinkish coloration.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; New Guinea: Beaufort Bivak, Etna Bay, Klamono Oilfields, Kloofbivak, Miei (Wandammen Peninsula), Prauwenbivak, Yaniruma (Digul). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Queensland (Australia).
