STATUS: A diurnal active moth which is very common in the lowlands of New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Salawati Island; Yapen Island: Ansus; Mioswaar Island; Roon Island; Supiori Island: Korido; Numfor Island: Suer; New Guinea: Base Camp (Utakwa River), Canoe Camp (Utakwa River), Dewaro Village (Weyland Mts), Dohunsehik, Eilanden River, Fakfak, Fyria river (Buruway), Mt. Goliath, Humboldt Bay, Kiamono Oilfields, Kloofbivak, Manokwari, Pionierbivak, Prauwenbivak, Resibivak, Upper Setekwa River, Tami River, Van Weelskamp, Wangaar. Details in gazetteer.
