Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed species in the Indo-Australian region, but rare in Papua. Males are easily distinguished from similar species by the black striping on the veins and the somewhat darker colour.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Bernhard Camp (Archbold Exp.), Sinimburu. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: From Sri Lanka through Indo-Australia, Philippines, Moluccas, Papua New Guinea.
