STATUS: A rare species. Only males are known. The hindwings of the males have a metallic central area.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Borme, Furu Camp (Foja Mts), Landikma. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea (Etappenberg).
