Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A rare species. Only a few specimens known from the Jayawijaya Mountains and northern Star Mountains, and recently found on Yapen Island. Another record was made just over the border of PNG in the Torricelli Mountains. The species is strongly sexual dimorph.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island: Mambo; New Guinea: Borme, Lelambo. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
