Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species with a wide distribution in New Guinea but only in mountainous areas. Females are much more frequently seen than males. Recently transferred from Scoliacma to Blaviodes (De Vos, 2020b).

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Araboebivak (Arabu Camp), Borme, Foja Mts., Mt. Goliath, Jiwika, Mt. Kunupi, Langda, Mokwam, Pass Valley, Sibil, Walmak, Wondiwoi Mts. (Wandammen). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
