STATUS: A common species, widely distributed in New Guinea. The colour and contrast of pattern is rather variable.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Misool Island; New Guinea: Base Camp (Utakwa River), Besum, Bog Camp (Furu), Borme, Fakfak, Getentiri, Mt. Goliath, Jayapura, Kouh, Kwerba, Mt. Lina (Cyclops), Mimika River, Nabire, Nimbokrang, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Sabron Camp, Samabusa, Senggo, Senopi, Sentani, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Vriendschap River, Waena, Wasior, Yongsu.
