STATUS: A common and local species. All records so far are from the southwestern part of New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Base Camp (2nd South New Guinea Expedition), Mt. Goliath, Kloofbivak (3rd South New Guinea Expedition), Kouh, Mimika, Upper Setekwa River, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: none.
