Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea with a peculiar distribution, which could indicate that it concerns more than one species. Moreover, the hindwings of the holotype from Misool are grey instead of yellow. What they have in common are the silver scales scattered all over the forewing.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Yapen Island: Mambo village, Gn. Samber; New Guinea: Canoe Camp (Setekwa River), Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
