Distribution

 

 

 

STATUS: Chlumetia species are the smallest Euteliinae, some not larger than 10 mm wide. The only species found in Papua so far is the most widely distributed species transversa. The foodplant of the species is mango (Mangifera, Anacardiaceae).

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Ifar, Sibil, Wasior, Yauer. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australia, from India to the Solomon Islands.
