Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed and a common species. The combination of the forewing pattern and the large hyaline and iridiscent center of the hindwing make this species easy to identify.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo: Camp Nok; Biak Island; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Mt. Goliath, Kouh, Utakwa River, Walmak, Wandammen Peninsula. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Sulawesi, South Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands.
