Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed in the Indo-Australian region, including New Guinea. A common species. Always fainter patterned than the previous species Petelia distracta, never with strong black patches in the apex.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Borme, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Humboldt Bay, Mt. Kunupi, Nimbokrang, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Sabron Camp, Setekwa River, Utakwa River, Waterfall (Cyclops), Wendesi, Yalimo. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: From India to New Guinea, including the Bismarck Archipelago.
