Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea. Mainly found in lowland areas, a common species. The size and form of the round pattern may vary, but are on the hindwing never so straight at the innerside as in separata.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Yapen Island: Mambo; New Guinea: Benyas (Arfak), Borme, Kobrey (Arfak), Mapi (Asmat), Mt. Goliath, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Omban, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Utakwa River, Wembi. Details in gazetteer.
