STATUS: In Papua rather common. Very similar to Albinospila syntyche but that species with the reddish brown margin thicker and with larger white dots.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island: Biak; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Bilogai, Demaisi, Depapre, Dotir, Kouh, Gn. Meja Reserve, Mokwam, Gn. Meja Reserve, Prafi, Sarmi, Sinimburu, Sorong, Tandia, Warmare Dua, Yuwong (Keerom). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
