Distribution

 

 

 

STATUS: Much less common than Pingasa chlora, which it resembles. However, the postmedian transverse line and pattern in lariaria is more pronounced with the teeth deeper than in chlora. It is widely distributed.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Japen Island: Ambaidiru; New Guinea: Ampas, Borme, Dabra, Depapre, Huri-Mber, Landikma, Mabilabol, Marina Valen, Nimbokrang, Sentani, Sinimburu, Tuan Wowi, Ubrub, Uskwar, Wambes, Werba. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian Region from India to Sundaland, Sulawesi, Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia).
