STATUS: Locally a common species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Japen Island; Supiori Island; New Guinea: Fakfak, Humboldt Bay, Manokwari, Ninay Valley, Snow Mountains, Timika, Wapoga. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Australia.
