STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea. A common species. Similar to opalina but with darker wingbase, they may be conspecific.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Fakfak, Ninay Valley, Pass Valley, Upper Setekwa River, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
