STATUS: The species is in Papua represented by the subspecies cieko. The nomotypical subspecies occurs in the Central Mountain Range of Papua New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. cieko: Abmisibil, Batimban, Korupun, Langda, Ninya, Panggaima, Pass Valley. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
