STATUS: The nomotypical subspecies is endemic in Papua, a second subspecies, hindenburgensis Lachlan, 2000, occurs in Papua New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Batimban, Borme, Landikma, Pass Valley, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
