Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: The species is represented by three subspecies in New Guinea. The nomotypical subspecies is distributed in the Central Mountains and crosses the border of PNG in the Western Province.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: ssp. kunupiensis: Enarotali, Homeyo, Mt. Kunupi, Moanemani, Modio, Tembagapura, Timeepa, Tuguwai; ssp. orthobasis: Lake Habbema, Ilaga, Ilu, Kanggime, Mulia, Ninya, Pass Valley, Sinak, Sumbole, Tiom, Walmak; ssp. alepa: Abmisibil, Batimban, Borme, Mt. Goliath, Korupun, Langda. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
