Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: The species status of this taxon is in discussion, some consider it to be a subspecies of Delias meeki Rothschild & Jordan, 1904 which has its distribution in PNG. In case that neagra is indeed a good species it is endemic in Papua.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. neagra: Abmisibil, Batimban, Borme, Korupun, Langda, Ninya, Sumtamon, Walmak; ssp. hypochrysis: Lake Habbema, Ibele, Jiwika, Kanggime, Makki, Pass Valley, Tiom, Welesi; ssp. albimarginata: Enarotali, Homeyo, Ilaga, Ilu, Magoda, Moanemani, Mulia, Tembagapura, Timeepa, Tuguwai.
