Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed species in New Guinea with 7 recognized subspecies in total of which 5 occur in Papua. All subspecies with minor differences in pattern.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. dice: New Guinea: Fakfak, Lobo (Triton Bay); ssp. mitisiana: Waigeo; ssp. latoclavata: Borme, Dabra, Kwerba; ssp. latimarginata: Nabire, Uapa-Topo; ssp. fulvoflava: Avona (Etna Bay), Kepi, Merauke, Timika. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
