STATUS: A common species mainly found in lowland areas. Restricted to New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Batanta Island; Waigeo Island; Numfor Island: Namber; Biak Island: West Biak, East Biak; Supiori Island: Korido; Japen Island: Waropen; New Guinea: Andai, Asmat, Kwerba, Manokwari, Senopi, Timika, Waena, Wasior. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
