Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Locally common, even more restricted in western Papua than A. monychata. The species is rather variable with its irregular white patches.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Batanta Island; Biak Island: Biak, Bosnik; New Guinea: Andai, Demaisi, Fakfak, Tandia, Werba. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Aru Islands.
