STATUS: A conspicuous species which is rather rare. Confined to New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Ampas, Benyas (Arfak), Dotir, Fakfak, Humboldt Bay, Huri-Mber (Onin), Lelambo, Nomnagihé, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senopi, Uskwar, Wambes, Wangaar, Wembi. Details in gazetteer.
