STATUS: A widely distributed but uncommon species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Waigeo Island: Sobol; Supiori Island; Japen Island; Numfor Island; Biak Island; New Guinea: Asmat, Bivak Island, Doreh (Manokwari), Fakfak, Keerom, Kloofbivak, Nabire, Sarmi, Senopi, Sorong, Star Mountains, East Tami River, Waropen, Van Weelkamp. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Australia, Solomon Islands.
